On Monday night at Little Caesars Arena, the Detroit Red Wings and the Los Angeles Kings will play an out-of-conference game.

The NHL Network, which can be live-streamed on ESPN+ (plans start at $11.99/month), Fubo TV (FREE trial, add-on), Sling TV (discount, add-on), and DirecTV Stream (FREE trial, discount, add-on), will broadcast the puck drop at 7 p.m. ET.

Through Saturday, Los Angeles (26-14-6, Pacific Division) will play the second of five games away from home.

The Kings lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 on Saturday night to start the trip.

The Kings, who currently hold third place in the Pacific Division, had goals from Phillip Danault and Quinton Byfield and 21 saves from Darcy Kuemper.

Marchenko’s wrister in extra time sealed the victory after Werenski missed an overtime penalty shot after the Kings knotted the game with 1:05 remaining in regulation.

Los Angeles is 5-4-1 in its previous ten games and 11-11-5 away from home this season.

The Kings’ top scorer with 24 goals and 44 points is Adrian Kempe, followed by Anze Kopitar with 43 points.

David Rittich (20 starts, 11-10, 2.65 goals-against average) and Kuemper (25 starts, 14-4-0-6, 2.09 goals-against average) have split the goalkeeping responsibilities.

In the first two games of their three-game homestand, Detroit (23-21-5, in the Atlantic Division) defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-0 on Saturday.

Michael Rasmussen scored an empty-netter in the last minute to seal Detroit’s victory, and Marco Kasper deflected a shot from J.T. Compher at 9:55 of the second period.

Cam Talbot recorded his second shutout of the season, stopping 28 shots.

In its previous ten games, Detroit is 6-3-1 and 14-11-2 at home.

Marco Kasper has five goals and three assists in the last ten games, while Lucas Raymond has scored 19 goals and provided 33 assists for the Red Wings.

Talbot has a 2.90 goals-against average and is 13-10-0-2 in 25 starts.

This season’s second meeting between the teams takes place on Monday. In the most recent game, the Kings prevailed 4-1. Adrian Kempe scored two goals to lead the Kings.
