Game Rant claims that the early access version of Hades II, which is actually Supergiant’s first sequel, was made available in May. Only Steam and the Epic Games Store now offer this early access.
According to PCGamsN, the game’s complete release is anticipated to occur in early 2025, while the precise date may be disclosed during the next Game Awards on December 12.
Even before then, the game will receive both little and significant upgrades. In October, the first significant update including an entirely new region was made public.
For those who don’t know, the original Hades tells the tale of Zagreus, the titular god’s son, who wants to escape his father’s domain. Greek mythological characters, including Olympians, also appear throughout the route.
Melino, Zagreus’ sister, is the main character of Hades II as she looks for her family, who have been abducted by Chronos, the Titan. There are more realms to explore than previously, and the game features both ancient and modern Olympians and legendary characters.
