Kelly Powers, a doctor and Fox News analyst who shared her knowledge on a number of occasions, has away following a protracted battle with cancer. Her age was forty-five.
After battling brain cancer, which was initially identified in 2020, the doctor and surgeon passed away on Sunday.
No matter where she went, she could make friends since she was a lovely and courageous person. According to her obituary, Kelly loved people and was committed to assisting others. Among her many interests were gardening, surfing, ballet, running, biking, horseback riding, and traveling. Kelly was a successful surgeon and physician who was featured in numerous periodicals and on television. Her family was her top priority.
After experiencing a number of health issues in 2020, she was initially diagnosed with brain cancer. However, the cancer went into remission until coming back this year.
Powers frequently appeared on Red Eye, Fox & Friends, a Fox News discussion show, and Fox Business, where she talked about the health hazards that Americans face.
She finished her residency at Georgetown and Boston University School of Medicine after attending the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
She started having chest aches and shortness of breath while hosting a Fox News piece about heart health.
It’s insane. I developed heart failure while reporting on heart health and discussing the subtle symptoms that women tend to overlook on Fox Business Live. In an interview with Preferred Health Magazine following her initial diagnosis, she stated, “You can’t make this up.”
She heroically endured the agony until learning she had aggressive glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer.
However, she was able to defeat the cancer after three surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. Even more astounding is the fact that she did all of this while she was pregnant and gave birth to Bennet, a boy who is currently three years old, according to aGoFundMe.
After recovering from her diseases, she frequently referred to herself as the luckiest unlucky girl.
Regretfully, the cancer reappeared in 2024. In order to help pay for experimental treatment that insurance would not cover, Friends of Powers donated close to $100,000.
Following her death, Republican commentator Meghan McCain took to social media to offer her sympathies to the Powers family, who had suffered a terrible loss.
Prayers, love, and light are being sent to Dr. Powers’ family and loved ones. No individual or family should have to deal with glioblastoma because it is an absolute, pure evil. In case you need anything, my family is here. McCain posted on X.
Bennet, her husband Steve Doll, her parents, and her in-laws Daniel and Laraine Doll are all living.
