Tyler Vaughns, a former wide receiver and preseason sensation for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is returning to the UFL in an attempt to reenter the NFL. As he battles his way back into the NFL, Vaughns is back with the Arlington Renegades for the third time since 2022.

As his relationship with Kenny Pickett deepened, Vaughns, who was with the Steelers, emerged as the 2022 preseason’s standout. However, he was unable to find a new team after being cut. Rather, he signed with the Renegades, where he led the club with 302 yards and seven starts.

With more than 500 receiving yards, Vaughns was even more impressive in the new UFL last season, ranking fourth in the league that spring. Vaughns, 27, appears to have a chance to build on that performance and have an even stronger season, earning him at least one more NFL opportunity.
