After being unexpectedly let go by the Tennessee Titans over the summer, Vrabel spent the season in a temporary capacity under Kevin Stefanski while he searched for another head coaching job.
Vrabel is technically a free agent and may interview with any club, but the Jets are the first team to do so. He ought to be a contender in Chicago in addition to the Jets position.
Before spending the following eight seasons with the New England Patriots, Vrabel was a linebacker for the Steelers from 1997 to 2000. After retiring in 2010, he entered the coaching profession and advanced to the position of head coach in 2018.
