Beau Pribula, a former quarterback at Penn State, has found a new school.

According to a report from on3, Pribula, the backup quarterback for Penn State who registered ESPN the transfer portal prior to the College Football Playoff, has committed to Missouri.

Pribula also canceled a planned trip to Indiana and visited Iowa, UCF, and Ole Miss.

Since Missouri will be taking Brady Cook’s place as starter, Pribula finds the location appealing. It’s interesting to note that Matt Zollers, a 2025 signee, native of Royersford, and a recruiting target for Penn State, will be considered by the Tigers.

Last week, Pribula declared that he would not be with Penn State during their CFP run and that he was going to the transfer site. His declaration was made just before it was revealed that Penn State star Drew Allaris will likely return for the 2025 campaign.

Andy Kotelnicki and Penn State used the former Central York star as a change of pace. Pribula helped the Nittany Lions put opponents on their heels by rushing for 242 yards and five touchdowns. This season, he recorded 187 offensive snaps.

Allar also received knowledgeable cover from Pribula. Both this season at Wisconsin and last year at Rutgers, he came in to replace an injured Allar. Both games were won by Pribula.

Following Pribula’s decision to depart Penn State before the CFP, which he described as “impossible,” James Franklin talked extensively. The former Penn State backup faced challenges because the transfer portal was open throughout the current season.

Franklin assured him that Beau Pribula had no intention of leaving our program until the end of the season. However, he thought that he was placed in a no-win situation because of the portal’s design, its timing, the way our team is performing, and the fact that there is only one quarterback position and those positions are filling up. I agree with him.

I think Beau Pribula is a great young man. And each year I would recruit him. With what I currently know, I would absolutely recruit Beau. Beau spent his entire childhood dreaming of attending Penn State. His ideal school is this one. And here, he had an incredible career. And over all, I just want everyone to know that.

In Saturday’s CFP first round, Penn State defeated SMU 38–10. When Allar left the game to prevent needless harm, true freshman Ethan Grunkemeyer entered in Pribula’s place.

In the CFP quarterfinals, Allar and the Nittany Lions will play Boise State. The game between Penn State and Boise State is scheduled to begin at the Fiesta Bowl at 7:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
