Jackie Farry passed away. She hosted an MTV program and was friends with some of the greatest rock stars.

She was fifty-eight.

According to Variety, she passed away from a lung condition. She had fought cancer for over 20 years, according to the website.

According to the website, Farry was Frances Bean Cobain’s first nanny and collaborated closely with Nirvana. Variety claims that she later managed the tours of the Lemonheads, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and Elliott Smith.

The website also stated that Farry presented the MTV program Super Rock after Kurt Cobain passed away in 1994, however it was brief.

According to reports, she entered the business as a Homestead Records receptionist.

Jackie’s friend and associate Janet Billig Rich told the Hollywood Reporter that her keen wit, charm, and captivating personality were the only things that could rival her love of music.Her contagious energy attracted both friends and strangers, making her a beacon for everyone.
