After finishing his third season at East Stroudsburg University, the former Harrisburg standout told PennLive that he has committed to move to Pitt for the upcoming campaign.

Let’s get to work.@CoachKlineX, formerly Twitter, was where Cook, Alex@MetzgerParish@CoachJjLaster@Pitt_FB#H2P, posted.

During his three seasons at East Stroudsburg, the 5-foot-10, 175-pound player has accumulated 1644 kick return yards and three touchdowns in addition to 965 receiving yards and five scores.

Cook’s redshirt is still eligible, and he has one more year of eligibility left.

With a kick return long of 99 yards this past season, he was named to the second team of the PSAC for the second consecutive year as a kick return specialist.

Shawn Lee Jr., an early enrollee in his first semester at Pitt, was a teammate of his at Harrisburg High School.

Cook was a two-way star for the Cougars who led Harrisburg to a District 3 championship and recorded 11 defensive interceptions in his senior year, garnering him all-state recognition.
