The top players in the Tri-Valley League are selected annually by the league’s coaches.
Following that, those players are selected as Tri-Valley League All-Stars for either the first or second team.
Ben Brinser, a midfielder from Greenwood, was chosen for the boys’ soccer first team, making him the only person from Perry County to make the squad.
Mason Jenkins played as a second team midfielder, and Evan Rice was listed as a forward for the second team.

In terms of goal leaders, Jenkins was ranked third in the league, while Evan Rice came in fifth.
With 86 saves and 21 goals given up, Blackhawks goalie Jonah Buck placed third in the league for keepers.

Claire Wechsler was promoted to the first team, Riley Egresits to the first team midfield, Paige Jenkins to the first team goalie, and Josie Van Why to the first team goalie.

Senior Ayahna Fleisher, sophomore Leah Conroy, juniors Kaydon Brandt, Callie Brouse, and Braelyn Prinz were named on the Blackhawks’ first team.
With 12 points from league games, Fleisher finished second in the league in terms of scoring. With eight, Alize Reyes came in fourth.
Fleisher finished fourth with four goals, while Reyes finished third with four as well.
Prinz ended fourth in the league with three assists, while Fleisher came in second with four.
Makenna Buffington, Adison Geer, Delaney Greene, and Gracyn Shutt were seniors at Newport.
Geer won the league MVP award as well.
Molly Guarente, the lone freshman chosen for the first team, senior Sophie Myers, and senior Hannah Shiffer represented Greenwood.
Guarente had seven points in league play, which put him sixth on the scoring leaders. With three goals, she also came in fifth place.
Myers had two assists, which put him on the leaderboard.
