The Tennessee Titans benched starter Will Levis against the Cincinnati Bengals, and now the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is beginning.Despite having a shoulder issue, Levis has turned into a dangerously volatile player who commits turnovers at one of the NFL’s highest rates.
Rudolph returned to the starting position as a result. As the Titans’ backup quarterback, he has appeared in five games and started three of them. Rudolph has accumulated 1015 passing yards and threw for six touchdowns and five interceptions in those games.
With three games remaining, it appears likely that Rudolph will start the remainder of the season. The former Steelers quarterback will then be eligible for free agency once more as he searches for a new home or to remain with the Titans.
In the final three games of 2023, Rudolph guided the Steelers from 7-7 to 10-7 and a postseason berth, which they would eventually lose to the Buffalo Bills.
