The city of PhiladelphiaAt least the Eagles are healthier, even though they might not be as harmonious as we believed they were at this time last week.

Naturally, the harmony part alludes to the ongoing rumor that has emerged this week around wide receiver A.J. Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts.

As the Eagles began getting ready for their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field, a survey of the practice field on Wednesday served as the basis for the health section.

During the limited time that was available to the media, Reed Blankenship, Sydney Brown, and Britain Covey were all seen on the practice field after missing the Eagles’ Week 14 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

After sustaining a concussion against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13, Blankenship, a starting safety, was unable to play against the Panthers. Covey, the team’s punt returner, missed time due to a neck injury, and Brown, a safety and special teams mainstay, was sidelined due to a knee injury.

Following his brief absence from the game against the Panthers due to two different ailments, C.J. Gardner-Johnson was also present at practice on Wednesday. After being evaluated for a concussion in the first quarter, the veteran safety seemed to sustain a leg injury in the fourth quarter. He came back both times, and he stopped a ball from Bryce Young that resulted in the Eagles’ first touchdown in the second quarter.

Early in Wednesday’s practice, right tackle Lane Johnson was not seen on the field, while guards Landon Dickerson and Mekhi Becton were both over to the side in sweats. Many older players on the Eagles have been taking Wednesdays off lately, but Becton was included on the injury report last week due to a knee problem. Prior to the game against the Panthers, neither Dickerson nor Johnson were included on the injury report.
