The city of PhiladelphiaAs they prepare to play the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, the Eagles decided to begin their practice week with a walk-through workout on Wednesday.
That didn’t alter the crucial question, though: will quarterback Jalen Hurts participate and be listed as a practice participant following his left knee injury sustained against the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round?
The two answers are yes and we still don’t know.

Prior to the session, Eagles coach Nick Siriannis stated that his quarterback will be in the walkthrough.
A brief update regarding the rookie cornerbackQuinyon Mitchell got the same response.
Sirianni stated that he would also be present at the walk-through.
After suffering a shoulder injury during the first half of the Eagles’ victory over the Rams, Mitchell was replaced by Isaiah Rodgers.
If practice had been more than a walkthrough, we don’t know if Hurts and Mitchell could have participated. In its official injury report, which is made public following practice, the team will provide an estimate in that respect.
A walk-through is a considerably less taxing workout for the entire squad, and the Eagles have also been giving many players a rest day on Wednesdays during this playoff run.
Sirianni stated, “It’s just what I thought was best for the team today.”
We won’t know what other players will be listed on the injury report until Wednesday after practice, as walk-through practices are closed to the media. Wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee), backup quarterback Kenny Pickett (ribs), and defensive tackle Byron Young (hamstring) were among the players on last week’s report who weren’t merely taking it easy.
Brandon Graham, who has been out since Week 12 due to a torn triceps injury, was also questioned by Sirianni.During his 94 WIP radio show on Tuesday, Graham hinted at a potential comeback if the Eagles make it to the Super Bowl.
“Let’s get there,” remarked Graham. Together, let’s win this week. That’s all I’m thinking about. Then we’ll see something, you know.
Sirianni also left things open-ended.
The coach said, “I don’t have any updates on Brandon.” He has led and assisted the squad here, and he has been fantastic.
Sam Cosmi, the right offensive guard, had a season-ending knee injury, which was Washington’s largest injury setback in their upset of the Detroit Lions in the divisional round. Trent Scott, a seven-year veteran with 23 career starts, including one at tackle this season, took his spot. The Eagles’ second-team All-Pro defensive tackle, Jalen Carter, will be his opponent.
