As he works to recover from a neck ailment that put him on the injured reserve list late in the season, Britain Covey was categorized as a limited participant. Since the team’s game against Baltimore on December 1, he has not played.

Smith attended Thursday’s practice but seemed to be a spectator. Smith missed games against the Rams and Ravens in Weeks 12 and 13 due to a hamstring ailment. Goedert was also sidelined because he is still recovering from an ankle injury sustained against the Rams in the divisional round. He recorded a team-high eight catches for 85 yards in the Eagles’ NFC Championship victory over the Washington Commanders, despite the injury.

Dickerson and Jurgens did not practice. Naturally, in the victory versus the Commanders, that duo split time at center. Due to back issues, Jurgens was unable to start; nevertheless, he came on after Dickerson left the game with a knee injury in the second half. Following that game, Jurgens declared that he will be prepared for the Super Bowl. During the media-only section of practice, Gainwell and Ojomo were also not seen.

Brown seems to be getting another day off as well.

Ahead to practice, the Eagles made headlines when they announced that Brandon Graham, the defensive star of their 2018 Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots, would be placed on injured reserve for 21 days. He was on the field of practice.

Naturally, Graham has just ten days to convince the Eagles that he is healthy enough to return from injured reserve and play for the first time since he tore his triceps in a game against the Rams in Los Angeles on November 24. A torn triceps usually takes at least four months to heal, and the Super Bowl will happen seven weeks after Graham’s injury.

Later today, the Chiefs and Eagles will both release official practice reports.
