Eaglescenter Cam Jurgens made the journey from the locker room to the indoor practice facility on Friday afternoon, holding his athletic tape in his left hand and his helmet in his right. Due to a back issue, Pro Bowl offensive lineman Jurgens missed both Wednesday’s walkthrough and Thursday’s practice, casting doubt on his availability for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field at 3 p.m. The offensive line may suffer as a result of his absence. But the fact that he and another offensive player are returning to practice indicates he will be prepared.

Because of the impact Commanders Pro Bowl wide receiver Terry McLaurin can have as well as the rise of wide receiver Dyami Brown, the Eagles will need Mitchell on the field.
