In court filings released this week, police stated that a man was intoxicated when he intentionally caused an October crash on a downtown Harrisburg sidewalk that killed a man in a wheelchair.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Ricardo Contreras-Cordero, 56, was attempting suicide on October 6 when he drifted across traffic lanes in the 300 block of North Second Street and collided with Eusebio Forestier, 68, who was sitting in a motorized wheelchair on a sidewalk.
