Following a fire last week, P.J. Whelihan’s Pub & Restaurant in Susquehanna Township is reopened.

The restaurant at 3882 Union Deposit Road will reopen on December 5 at 4 p.m., according to Vice President of Development Chris Webb.

After an electrical fire occurred in a kitchen prep area, P.J. Whelihan’s closed on November 29.

The restaurant’s Facebook page was updated on Wednesday:We intend to reopen this Thursday, December 5th, at 4 p.m., after being temporarily closed due to an electrical fire. I appreciate your understanding.

After the incident, Webb commended the Susquehanna Township fire departments for their prompt action and support.

In October 2020, P.J. Whelihan’s opened at a former TGI Friday’s.It is a member of the PJW Restaurant Group, which runs Treno, The Pour House, and The Chop House, among other restaurant names.
