A well-known political strategist was charged by Dauphin County Commissioner Justin Douglas on Wednesday of embezzling county funds by accepting grant money from a program he manages.

Since 2008, Mike Musser II, a consultant, has been in charge of the Dauphin County Industrial Development Authority’s gaming grant program. He receives $5,000 a month to evaluate applications and assist candidates with the selection process.
