After Mechanicsburg Borough council members approved a search for a new department head, Central Pennsylvania is about to lose its only female police chief.
In October, council members agreed to a deal with a business to assist them in finding and screening applicants to replace 65-year-old Margaret Myers, who has been the head of the police department since 2015.
