The wildfires in California have forced a second postponement of the 2025 Critics Choice Awards.
Originally set for January 12, the show was rescheduled for January 26 and will now air on Friday, February 7.
The show will no longer feature a red carpet special, according to the Critics Choice Association.
On Friday, February 7, the 30th Critics Choice Awards will air on E! from 7 to 10 p.m. Chelsea Handler is the host.
Our neighborhood has already been significantly impacted by this developing catastrophe. In a social media message at the time of the initial postponement, Joey Berlin, CEO of the Critics Choice Association, said, “All of our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected.”
With eleven each, Conclave and Wicked are the most nominated films. Emilia P. Rez and Dune: Part Two both have ten.
