According to Deadline, Tim McGraw will no longer be appearing in the upcoming Netflix series about the rodeo.
According to the website, McGraw was supposed to executive produce and star in the untitled series, but he had to walk aside in order to undergo back surgery. According to the website, McGraw, 57, also had to cancel his remaining 2024 tour engagements after undergoing surgery on both knees back in August.
Given that the show is about bull riding, it makes sense that McGraw’s rodeo part would be physically taxing, according to Deadline. According to Deadline, McGraw’s departure enables the project to proceed.
The series’ future is unknown, according to Deadline, and representatives for Skydance and Netflix declined to comment.
It stated that Brandon Camp is the author and creator of the series.
