AP/PHILADELPHIA The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 125-119 on Wednesday night, with Josh Hart recording his 11th triple-double of the season and Jalen Brunson scoring 16 of his 38 points in the fourth quarter and overtime.
In a rematch of the first-round playoff series from the previous year, the Knicks prevailed thanks to 10 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists from Hart, 23 points from Mikal Bridges, and 17 points from OG Anunoby.
Tyrese Maxey scored 33 points to lead the 76ers. Kelly Oubre Jr. contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Paul George finished with 26 points.
The All-Star centers were not used by either team. Joel Embiid missed his sixth consecutive game due to a sprained left foot. Due to a sprained right thumb, Karl-Anthony Towns was unable to play.
