MECHANICSBURG In Friday’s PIAA Class 5A football championship game, Bishop McDevitt defeated Roman Catholic 34-31 in overtime, and Stone Saunders ended his remarkable high school career with two more state records.

Earlier in the season, Saunders became the all-time throwing touchdown leader in Pennsylvania. He added Pa.’s career passing yards and completions records to his undeniable total in his career finale.
