The Blackhearts, Joan Jett, and Billy Idoland are embarking on a tour that will stop in Pennsylvania.
The It’s a Nice Day to Tour Again! will feature their performance on Saturday, August 16 at Philadelphia’s TD Pavilion at The Mann. The 1982 hit song “White Wedding” by Idol is the source of the tour’s name.
The two legs of the tour are from August 16 to September 25 and from April 30 to May 23.
On September 25, the tour comes to a close with a performance at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California. For the sake of Southern California Wildfire Relief, Idol will give $5 from each ticket sold to the American Red Cross. According to Live Nation, Idol will personally match this donation as well.
Idol attended Ozzy Osbourne’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year. According to a news release from Live Nation, he also commemorated the 40th anniversary of his historic sophomore album Rebel Yell last year with a deluxe enhanced version.
