At 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service published a bulletin predicting snow showers in Northern Wayne, Bradford, and Susquehanna counties through 7:45 p.m.

“Early this evening, the Finger Lakes region of central New York and the Twin Tier Region of New York and Pennsylvania may experience scattered to numerous snow showers. There will be a brief period of heavy snowfall, decreased visibility, and a rapid half-inch of snowfall due to the snow showers. This evening, the snow showers should taper off between 8 and 11 p.m. The weather service warns that this evening’s driving could be dangerous due to slick roads and decreased visibility.
