Scotty Washington, a former tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has joined the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad. Since joining the NFL in 2020, Washington has played for the Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, and now the Ravens in the AFC North. He has looked for a steady position in the league.

Washington joined the Bengals immediately after graduating from college as an undrafted free agent from Wake Forest that year. He played for the Bengals for the first two years of his career. After that, Washington played with the New England Patriots in 2022, but they tested him out at wide receiver rather than tight end.

Washington was once again a tight end when he joined with the Steelers in the 2023 season, although his tenure in the Steel City was brief. He has been in and out of the building ever since the Ravens signed him at the end of the 2023 season.

After Charlie Kolar, the tight end for the Ravens, sustained an injury that is likely to keep him out for at least four weeks, Washington is back. Washington might be able to assist the Ravens and be promoted from the practice squad.
