Rashod Bateman, a wide receiver, might not play for the Baltimore Ravens against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After missing Thursday’s practice, Bateman was spotted wearing a boot. The boot appears to be a preventative measure, though, and on Saturday he will meet with trainers to go over his condition.
The Ravens initially believed Bateman might have had a serious injury during Wednesday’s practice, but tests showed it was much less serious than they had initially believed. That does not, however, ensure that Bateman will be able to play on Saturday against the Steelers.
Nelson Agholor is doubtful due to a concussion, and they might utilize him together with Diontae Johnson, who is out of the team for personal reasons. They will turn to Tylan Wallace and Tez Walker to fill in if Agholor and Bateman are unable to participate. They have Dayton Wade, Keith Kirkwood, Anthony Miller, and Malik Cunningham on their practice squad who might be called up if necessary.
