AP/PHILADELPHIA Three pedestrians were hurt after a car struck them in a crowd of fans exiting the Philadelphia Eagles playoff game on Sunday night, according to the police.
According to a social media post from the Philadelphia Police Department, a motorist is in jail and the crash did not seem to be deliberate at first.
The Philadelphia police were quoted in news media as saying the victims had non-life-threatening injuries.
Around 9:30 p.m., following the NFC championship game at Lincoln Financial Field, the automobile stuck the sizable throng close to the historic Center City district, according to press reports.
The Eagles will play the Kansas City Chiefs, the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, in the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 9 after defeating the Washington Commanders 55-23.
