According to authorities, a mobile home in Lancaster County caught fire Tuesday morning, killing three cats.

According to Northern Lancaster County Regional police, the fire started at approximately five in the morning on Earl Lane in the Twin Brook mobile home development.

The mobile home was consumed as the officers arrived on the scene. According to authorities, a woman who managed to flee the fire was treated for smoke inhalation at a hospital.

According to police, the fire destroyed the house and two cars, killing three cats.

The cause of the fire is being investigated, according to the police.

We advise everyone to make sure their smoke alarms are working and to check their heating systems for safety issues during these frigid conditions, police said in a news release on Tuesday.
