Residents of Camden County have a limited amount of time to register for the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) special election.
The registration deadline is quickly coming if you intend to vote on this significant county-wide tax measure.
Make sure you are eligible to take part in this important choice about the funding of government initiatives in your town because you have until Tuesday to complete your registration.
The date of this Camden County special election is March 18, but there are many ways to cast your ballot before then.
Early voting will begin on Monday, February 24 at specific locations throughout the county.
Voting is open every weekday until February 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Camden County Annex in Kingsland.
On Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., voting hours will also be extended.
But don’t worry, early voting is still open until the first week of March if that doesn’t work for you.
Voters can visit the Camden County Annex or the Woodbine Elections Office between March 3 and March 7, when they are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Another chance to cast an early ballot is on Saturday, March 8, at the Elections Office, the St. Marys Welcome Center, and the Camden County Annex.
The hours of operation for these websites are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Lastly, you can vote before the election day rush by returning to the Camden County Annex or the St. Marys Welcome Center between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. during the final week of early voting, which runs from March 10 to March 14.
