Mike Musser II, a well-known political consultant who recently came under fire for having a string of dubious contracts with county agencies, was fired by the Dauphin County Redevelopment Authority’s board on Thursday after a unanimous vote.

The resignation of board member Jeff Haste, a former Dauphin County Commissioner who has been embroiled in a number of scandals involving possible conflicts of interest in recent months, was also formally accepted by the Redevelopment Authority and Land Bank Authority, which are primarily led by the same board members.
