Developers in south central Pennsylvania put forward ideas for homes, a hotel, and a completely renovated Tractor Supply store between October 1 and November 25.

Many projects in Adams, Cumberland, and Dauphin counties are included in the list below.

Note: Not every suggested plan will be implemented, and some projects might not start development for years.

Butler Township

In Perry County, a new Dollar General location has opened.

At 545 Carlisle Road, a building expansion to the current company is being considered.

Latimore Township

OMalley Lumber

On Carlisle Pike, C & T Land Holdings intends to erect a lumber yard structure.

Littlestown

Phase 2 of Mayberry at Mason Dixon

The development of 34 residential units is the proposal put out by Mayberry at Mason Dixon LLC.

Mount Joy Township

The Dollar General

At 2440 Baltimore Pike, a Dollar General store is being considered. This plan has been updated.

Straban Township

Bible Baptist Church in Gettysburg

At 3005 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg Bible Baptist Church suggested two additions.

Popeyes

At 1115 York Road, a shopping center and a Popeyes are being proposed.


Cumberland County

Carlisle

General AMG

Redeveloping the land at 202 E. High St. and turning the current 5,000-square-foot structure into a retail space is the aim of this concept.

East Pennsboro Township

School District of East Pennsboro

A set of bleachers is being proposed by the East Pennsboro Area School District to be placed next to the current turf field located at 890 Valley St.

Hampden Township

Volvo Lehman

At 6281 Carlisle Pike, Lehman Volvo intends to install a 3,500-square-foot building.

Volunteer Fire Department of Mechanicsburg

The fire service intends to build a 17,800-square-foot fire hall and garage on South York Street by combining five sites and two previously abandoned lanes.

New Cumberland

Water Street and Seventh Street Warehouse

At Seventh and Water streets, Palm Capital intends to construct a 6,000-square-foot warehouse.

North Middleton Township

Phase 2: Lehman’s Landing

Townhomes at Lehman Drive and Longs Gap Road are being developed by Longs Gap LLC and Lehman’s Crossing LLC. Fifty townhomes will be built as part of the development’s second phase. This plan was accepted before.

Shippensburg

Townhomes in Shippensburg

According to the plans, a total of 26 townhomes would be built.

Silver Spring Township

HJ Recovery and Towing

A new 17,800-square-foot building extension at 7044 Carlisle Pike is being proposed by the corporation.

South Middleton Township

Extension of the Vitro Architectural Glass, Float Line 1 Building

The business wants to expand its Carlisle location on Park Drive by 9,000 square feet. In order to offer specialized glass for the fabrication of solar panels, a glass coating process will be installed on one of the production lines. A building addition and auxiliary structures for material storage, a pollution control system, and other support equipment are part of the project.

Upper Allen Township

The Hyatt Hotel

At 381 Cumberland Parkway, Aayhana Inc. intends to construct a four-story, 11,972-square-foot Hyatt Hotel with 85 rooms.

West Pennsboro Township

Farms in the Central Valley

Getting permission to develop a new 80,000-square-foot bull housing facility, a manure/waste digester system, and related upgrades at 500 Carlisle Road is the aim of this plan.

Dauphin County

Harrisburg

Market Street, 112

Harristown intends to transform the office building located at 112 Market Street into a mixed-use structure that will house residences, shops, and restaurants.

Redevelopment of Marketplace Midtown (Phase 1)

In order to provide a mix of housing, including 76 residential apartments and commercial space, Midtown Redevelopment intends to rehabilitate long-vacant sites off of Calder Street.

Lofts at Woodward

At 1001 N. 18th St., Fernandez Realty Affordable Homes intends to build a 48-unit affordable housing complex by combining three sites into one.

Washington Township

Tractor Provisions

The current Tractor Supply shop at 4955 State Route 209 will undergo both exterior and interior renovations as part of the proposed redevelopment. A complete renovation, a new fixture arrangement, a self-service pet wash, and more outlets for the renovated sales floor are all part of the interior work. An outdoor garden center will be added by Tractory Supply.

West Hanover Township

Goddard Real Estate

At the intersection of Allentown Boulevard and South Oak Grove Road, Goddard Realty intends to build a 55,000-square-foot light industrial structure with an office component.
