Brown strolled back to the sidelines and threw his helmet into one of the helmet heaters on the bench. Brown joined wide receiver DeVonta Smith and the rest of the offense, who were having yet another difficulty moving the ball in the air, after the offense had gone three-and-out for the second time in the first half.
After the game, when questioned about the passing offense’s problems, Brown indicated he had no idea why the passing yards had not been produced. When asked why the offensive didn’t perform well, Brown had a direct response in just one word:
