Pittsburgh –Greg Newsome and George Pickena might have been on the first round of the Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers fight card. The card’s follow-up? Jerry Jeudy against Joey Porter Jr.
Following a rough game in which Porter attempted to get violent with Jeudy, Porter and Jeudy got into a heated argument. Porter’s father, who got into a fight with several Browns players before the game, sounds exactly like him.
Porter believes he got under Jeudy’s skin, but he vows they won’t do it anymore.
Porter remarked, “I really don’t care about it,” and he was merely attempting to speak. What he said, he said. I said what I said. Shoot, we can meet up if there’s anything else after that. Actually, I’m not trippin’.
Jeudy scored a touchdown, but Porter missed it. Otherwise, Porter did a fantastic job of keeping Jeudy out of the game for the majority of it, and it seemed that Jeudy grew increasingly irritated as the game progressed.
It was awesome. Porter claimed that there was a great deal of back and forth. I think it was a peaceful day for him, and I feel like I got under his skin.
Jeudy just destroyed the Denver Broncos for 233 yards in a huge game. However, Jeudy only had four receptions for 29 yards against the Porter. It’s a silent game.
Porter is not shocked by the altercation because such rivalries are common. Given the amount of back-and-forth discussion that has taken on between the two sides this week, some roughness is expected in a rivalry.
They don’t like us, and I already don’t like those guys. We won as a team, which makes me happy. Ultimately, they were defeated. We prevailed. I’m content, Porter declared.
This was a mild altercation that involved more words than physical force, unlike the fistfight his father got into. In either case, Porter recovered against the Browns following a difficult six-flag game in Cincinnati.
