Pittsburgh –Five players will not play for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Cleveland Browns. Veteran wide receiver Mike Williams will start, with wide receiver George Pickens as the top player on the inactive list. Williams has only made one catch on one target since being traded from the New York Jets in November.

Cornerback Cory Trice Jr., meanwhile, was a healthy scratch. James Pierre has seized the top backup position, so even though Trice made a comeback from a hamstring ailment earlier this week, there was no space.

The Noes tackle Outside of Pickens, Dean Lowry may be the most unexpectedly passive. Due to Montravius Adams’ injury, Lowry is the backup nose tackle, leaving the Steelers with just four interior defensive lineman. Preston Smith might be moved inside if it indicates the team plans to use a lot of their three outside linebacker formations.

Finally, quarterback Kyle Allen is the backup third quarterback and guard Max Scharping will not play.
