The State College boys wrestling team defeated Shikellamy 36-27 in a non-conference match on Wednesday night to kick off their dual meet season in grand form.
Asher Cunningham, a Penn State University recruit and the defending 3A state champion, opened the bout at 172 pounds by pinning Ned Drumheller in 11 seconds.
