But the passionate Pickens might have gone out of control when Cincinnati Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt picked-six Russell Wilson on the opening possession of the game while pulling Pickens down by his helmet in what should have been a penalty.
Following the play, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is shown comforting Pickens and urging him to stay with him in the first episode of Hard Knocks.

The following drive would see Pickens snag a screen pass and take it in for the touchdown from 17 yards away. Pickens would later receive two penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct, which led Tomlin to remark that while Pickens needs to mature quickly after the game, his ability to stay focused on the game is crucial to the offense’s success each week.
