As the Denver Broncos attempt to slow down James Winston and what has become into a potent passing attack, former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace has struggled in Monday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Former Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who is currently with the Browns, toasted the Broncos, including Wallace, for a 70-yard touchdown in a game of retaliation.

Due to a knee injury, Wallace is filling in for Broncos CB Riley Moss. He has, however, been criticized and primarily played against Jeudy, who has toasted Wallace. Wallace also gave up a 43-yard catch to Elijah Moore in the meantime.

After battling for Joey Porter Jr. during his two seasons with the Steelers, Wallace was benched in the middle of the previous campaign. Jeudy gained more than 200 yards that day, majority of which came against Wallace.

This summer, the Steelers dealt Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for Donte Jackson, letting Wallace leave. Jackson has outperformed Wallace from the previous campaign and has a team-high five interceptions.

When Broncos cornerback Ja Quan McMillain pulled off a pick-six late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory, the defense did make a huge play at the conclusion of the game.
