Eliminating Black History Month is not that simple. Nearly 47 million Americans identify as African American, descended from slaves who were enslaved and brought to this country to help it become the superpower it is today.
This February, African Americans and their conscience-based allies will continue to celebrate Black History Month with fresh zeal, despite the powerful people in Washington, DC, believing they can command American government agencies to refrain from doing so.
