Since President Donald Trump took office again, attempts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion have come under fire; nevertheless, it appears that the NFL will not compromise on at least one front on Super Bowl Sunday.
According to reports, Trump is expected to attend, and if he does, he will be able to hear Lift Every Voice and Sing played before kickoff. The song, which is sometimes referred to as the Black National Anthem, will be performed by Grammy Award winner Ledisi.
She wrote Honored and posted a visual on X indicating that she would be singing the song.
Republicans have historically singled out and condemned the song’s presence before major athletic events. On social media, many are once again losing their minds at the news that the song will go on. Many of the same people who previously vowed never to watch the NFL again are now making another vow not to watch the big game.
Mila Joy posted on X that the Black National Anthem is playing during the Super Bowl.As a result, I have made the decision not to watch. Black Americans are citizens of the United States. There is just one national anthem in America. The purpose of the Black one is to split.

Someone said, “President Trump will be there.” He will probably discuss the existence of a single national anthem.
Ledisi’s post received several unfavorable comments from people who said that she was honored to perform.
Is this song still necessary? Someone wrote.
And generally speaking, those were some of the milder reactions on X.
However, many people were also pleased to see Ledisi given the chance.
MY WOMAN WITH THE LARGE VOICE! CONGRATS! was written by one individual. I am certain that I will get posted!
