Shaun Sarretti, a former offensive line coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is interviewing for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ open post. Sarrett is the Minnesota Vikings’ assistant offensive line coach at the moment.
From 2012 until 2018, the 45-year-old Beckley, West Virginia native served as the Steelers’ assistant offensive line coach under Mike Munchak. In 2019 and 2020, he served as the offensive line coach, but the Steelers fired him after the team’s poor performance.
After Jim Harbaugh was hired, Sarrett left the Los Angeles Chargers, where he had been the assistant offensive line coach since then. He currently works with the Vikings as a member of Kevin O. Connell’s staff, which he hopes will lead to further employment opportunities.
Liam Coen, the head coach of the Jaguars, is working to expand his staff. Following his hasty departure from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to take the position with the Jaguars, Coen was prohibited from interviewing several assistants.
