Safety of the Pittsburgh SteelersRussell Wilson and Minkah Fitzpatrick were the main stars of Sunday’s Pro Bowl games. Wilson passed for three touchdowns during the game, and Fitzpatrick intercepted two passes.
Even with all of that, the AFC was still unable to overcome the odds, as the NFC defeated the AFC squad that had too many alternatives further down the list 76-57.
Wilson started the game second to quarterback Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, while Fitzpatrick was the team’s starting safety.
Wilson threw touchdowns to Joe Mixon of the Houston Texans, Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Ja Marr Chase of the Bengals that day. Fitzpatrick returned it for a pick-six after catching Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Byron Murphy, a cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings, was awarded the game’s defensive MVP on the NFC winning team, despite Fitzpatrick’s performance.
Linebacker Patrick Queen was one of the two starting linebackers at the game, and other Steelers also participated.
