At 5:18 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a weather notice for Beaver, Allegheny, and Westmoreland counties, warning of freezing drizzle through 7 p.m.
“With some surface and road temperatures in the region approaching the freezing mark, isolated patches of freezing drizzle are expected early this evening. Roads, particularly bridges and overpasses, may turn slippery and dangerous tonight evening, so drivers should be ready for potentially rapidly changing road conditions. The weather service advises slowing down and making sure you have enough space between you and the vehicle ahead of you.
United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
