The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am final round is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, and it looks like it will be a race that goes right down to the last hole.
Sepp Straka made a comeback on Saturday, making four birdies in the last five holes to salvage a 2-under 70 and a one-shot lead over Shane Lowry and McIlroy going into today’s final round.

Straka sits at the top of a leaderboard that resembles the Ryder Cup roster for Europe. Straka, McIlroy, Lowry, and Justin Rose as the Georgia Bulldog, who was born in Austria, attempts to win the PGA Tour for the second time in a row.
By chipping his way around for a bogey-free 65 and navigating the exposed portion of Pebble Beach without dropping a shot, McIlroy was nearly perfect, at least in the unfavorable conditions on Saturday.
McIlroy, who is only participating in the tournament for the third time, told The Associated Press that it’s a more genuine experience of what the Pebble Beach Pro-Am is like.
Lowry ended with two birdies on the final three holes for a 65 after getting off to a birdie-eagle-birdie start that allowed for a few errors at the turn.
Following a victory in the California desert, Straka shot out of the sand to four feet for a final birdie, putting him at 16-under 200 and one shot ahead of his Ryder Cup colleagues from Marco Simone, McIlroy and Lowry.
Kim and Cam Davis were also a shot behind Rose, who won at Pebble Beach in 2023 and was a member of Team Europe later that year.
Scottie Scheffler recorded a 69 and was six strokes behind in his 2025 debut, which was postponed due to hand surgery for a strange puncture wound.

With the amateurs departing on Friday, the days of the old Crosby Clambake are long gone. Although the photos weren’t the most picturesque, it was a treat to watch the top golfers occupied with a wind that could bend flagsticks, bringing back memories of the Clambake conditions.
McIlroy had a good strategy. “Let’s try to chip the ball around today,” he suggested, turning to caddie Harry Diamond as the wind came up on the sixth hole.
McIlroy remarked, “I feel like I didn’t make a full swing after that.”
He had to make six par-saving saves from the rough and bunkers, but none were more important than the six-foot, crucial par putt from the high grass beneath the tenth green.
According to him, there was a crucial up-and-down to maintain the round’s momentum.

Both McIlroy and Lowry started the week with hole-in-ones: McIlroy on the 15th hole at Spyglass, and Lowry on the 7th hole at Pebble Beach. Now, the longstanding Irish golf pals will be in the last group with Straka.
“This is undoubtedly one of the few courses in the world that you would like to win on,” Lowry stated. Therefore, you make an effort to avoid thinking about such things and hope that one day you will.
