County 911 dispatchers said that Harrisburg police were called to a gunshot at a food shop near a gas station in the city on Saturday night.
Around 6:10 p.m., dispatchers reported a gunshot wound at the King Food Market, located in the 1900 block of Derry Street.
The Sunoco food market and gas station were surrounded by police tape when a PennLive reporter visited the neighborhood. There were about eight police cars in the vicinity.
Although it is unknown what kind of firearm was used in the incident, an officer was overheard asking someone about a pistol close to the petrol station. The condition of the gunshot victim is currently unknown.
