Two other coaches may wind up leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers, even though they lost inside linebackers coach Aaron Curry to the New York Jets on Friday.According to Chris Halicke of DK Pittsburgh Sports, it is unclear if defensive line coach Karl Dunbar and outside linebackers coach Denzel Martin will return because their contracts are about to expire.

Dunbar is aggressively seeking opportunities elsewhere and may not return, despite the Steelers’ desire for him to do so.

Dunbar isn’t necessarily someone the Steelers are eager to let go of. It’s more likely that Dunbar is searching for something else, like a less time-consuming career or another coaching position. Dunbar’s age is 57. The entire league respects him as a coach,” Halicke wrote.

All of the defensive linemen and outside linebackers on the team have developed into stars and reliable contributors under Dunbar and Martin, who represent the two strongest position groups on the squad.

Overall, even if the coaching staff was probably going to undergo some changes, losing these three coaches was not something you would want, particularly given the poor play of certain position groups, such as the offensive line.
