A woman from Harrisburg who is suspected of using garden tools to kill a stranger in December told police that she had just left a flooded apartment where she had been squatting before to the assault.

At her preliminary hearing on Wednesday, Harrisburg police detective Ed Powell testified that Tajyeiah Greer, 29, had a mental breakdown and exited her unit in the Governor’s Square affordable housing complex in a panic, seeking assistance.
