Although Russell Wilson cannot be ruled out, the Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be leaning on Justin Fields rejoining the squad as the starting quarterback. Fields started 4-2 for the Steelers, and if the team does not sign him, he should attract interest on the free agency market given his improvements in the turnover department.
In order to replace Will Levis as the starting quarterback with potential and serve as a bridge player, Pro Football Focus would like to see Fields join the Titans in Tennessee.
Mason Cameron writes that Mike Borgonzi, the new general manager of the Titans, must make a tough choice about the team’s future, especially at quarterback, now that the team has the No. 1 overall pick. When Titans president of football operations Chad Brinker stated that the organization won’t pass on a generational talent, many assumed he was referring to Travis Hunter of Colorado. Tennessee will still want to address quarterback due to Will Levis’ troubles, and Fields is an affordable and promising possibility.
There is only one team, the Jets. In 2025, other teams including the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders, and Tennessee Titans would consider Fields as a possible answer to their quarterback problems. Although Fields’ desires are still unknown, a return to Pittsburgh appears to be a possibility. Other teams ought to be interested in him, though.
