At 10:07 a.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said that Mercer, Venango, Forest, and Clarion counties would get significant snowfall through 10:30 a.m.
“A region of dense snow was found around 10:07 a.m. along a line that ran from close to Wetmore to close to Andover. At 35 mph, the movement was southeast. The meteorological service warns that this area of heavy snow might see winds of more than 30 mph.
Hasson Heights, Stoneboro, Seneca, Polk, Sandy Lake, Jamestown, Rouseville, Cooperstown, Woodland Heights, Pleasantville, Utica, New Lebanon, Sheakleyville, Fryburg, Oil City, Franklin, Marienville, Greenville, Sugarcreek, Tionesta, and Tionesta are among the places affected by the alert. This covers Pennsylvania’s Interstate 79 between mile markers 127 and 138. Reduced visibility and dangerous travel conditions are caused by snow, and winter weather conditions can quickly worsen. Be ready for roads covered with ice or snow. When traveling, slow down and give yourself more time.
