This summer, the Hollywood Casino at the Penn National Race Course in Grantville will host drops of Jupiter.
According to the casino, Train will be the first performer in the 2025 Outdoor Concert Series on Saturday, August 9.
Patrick Monahan is the lead singer for Train, which was founded in San Francisco in 1993. According to a news release, they became well-known with their 2001 album Drops of Jupiter, which included the Grammy-winning title tune that became a defining song of the early 2000s.
Hits like “Calling All Angels” from My Private Nation (2003) helped Train maintain their prominence. Train has continued to be a mainstay of contemporary music with more songs like “Drive By” and more Grammy and Billboard Music Awards. Their passionate songwriting and captivating live performances have captured the attention of audiences all around the world.
On Friday, January 31, tickets will go on sale on Ticketmaster.
