The National Weather Service reported Tuesday at 5:17 a.m. that Warren, McKean, Potter, and Tioga counties would have heavy snow through 6:15 a.m.
“At 5:15 a.m., a band of heavy snow was along a line extending from near Wellsville to 10 miles west of Warren and moving southeast at 45 MPH,” according to the meteorological service.
Drivers on US-6 should be on the lookout for strong winds and quickly shifting conditions.
In the following areas, expect significant snowfall:
“If you have to travel into or through this band of heavy snow, exercise extra caution,” the weather service cautions. Accidents may result from abrupt changes in visibility and perhaps slick roads.
